Rockledge, Brevard County and Cocoa units responded to the Marlin Manor Subdivision off of Pluckebaum Rd. in Rockledge for a residential structure fire. RFD Engine 36 arrived first on scene and found heavy fire in the attic space above the garage. The fire was stopped and most of the contents were salvaged.
It was later found that the homeowners did not have the property insured. The members of RFD assisted the homeowner the next day with further efforts to salvage their property. Another example of great customer service by the RFD.
